The Pacific

Today I'll talk about a miniserie called The Pacific. It's pretty awesome this one.It tells the story of the marines in the WWII. The miniserie shows them fighting against the Japaneses, and answer to the  Pearl Harbor attack.

It also has the old mans who fought in that war. They tell their stories and the miniserie represent it. So it's three old man, talking during it, about their feelings, the fight, their needs... Everything.
For those who likes stuff about wars, like me, I recommend you to watch it. Then I'll make other post, or others, about this same subject, if this one go well and you like.
There's the trailer of it. But seriously, the trailer show almost nothing if compared to the complete serie.

PS: Thanks to all of you who comment and support me with this blog. I really appreciate your help.

Yeah, it shows war pretty realistically! I love this mini series, it's like Pearl Harbor except less sexy people.

@GMSoccerPicks
It's not passing on HBO at this time. You have to download the series ro see it, if you'll wait for HBO pass it, you'll never watch it. haha

Nice, hadn't heard of this before.. I'm sure HBO will do it right, they rarely mess up their miniseries.

P.s. your english is very good! you're from brazil, correct? I wish my portuguese was half as good as your english.

It's like next season of "Company of Brothers". Nevermind the pathos and epic music, i believe "The Pacific" is worth watching ;)

Great series, but I haven't seen the last episode, I want to buy it and watch it all over again with the conclusion this time.

I generally steer away from war movies and shows. Do you know that the Pentagon approves or turns away scripts based on how well they make the American Imperial Army look?
All these shows have the same message...we're the good guys, and you solve problems with murder.

I disagree.

I really don't want to hear about war anymore. Just too many images and thoughts of war. Make it a reality. Make it a reality in the minds of viewers. War, accept its inevitability. NO. Don't accept war.
